I graduated from the Central School of Ballet in 2003.
My 1st professional contact was with Tetsuya Kumakawa’s K-Ballet in Japan, which was a fantastic experience.
Hard work, but we did travel around all the major cities of Japan and had a simply great time. What a start to my career!!!!!
Japan certainly loves its Ballet.
On my return to the UK I joined English National Ballet in their production of Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This was great for my family & friends as they were able to come and watch me perform.
I then auditioned for a number of companies in the UK but its fair to say that the competition is intense so after a couple of disappointments I decided to look further afield.
Looking for audition news in various online and other places I came across an audition for Landestheatre Detmold so promptly contacted them and sent of all my details. I was offered an audition and of I went to Germany. I was very fortune as following my audition I was offered a contract by the Ballet Director, Richard Lowe.
I moved to Detmold in August 2004 and have been with the company since then. I have a fantastic boss in Richard, you could not ever have a more caring, genuinely nice person to help and guide you.
I have been lucky as I have had some fantastic roles to play at the company with a great bunch of people.
